Congratulations to James Cunningham (1C) who won the U14 Cyclocross competition last Saturday 25th November at the Sport Ireland Campus in Blanchardstown. This event was a support race for a round of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup event taking place the following day.
James produced an outstanding result given the breadth of the field and the fact that he is only in his first year of U14 competition. In a tight finish to his race, James managed to power away from his nearest opponent on the tarmac finishing straight, edging home by approx 4 seconds!
