Last Wednesday the College welcomed Minister Jack Chambers on campus to talk to the students about Economics and Politics. Jack is currently Deputy Leader of Fianna Fáil, serving his 3rd term in the Dáil. He is also Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Services, Reform and Digitalisation.
He attended Belvedere College, graduating in 2009, and later earned a Law and Political Science degree from Trinity College Dublin, and a medical degree from RCSI. He was elected to the Dáil for the first time in 2016 after serving as a County Counsellor for 2 years.
