On the 29th January, the college was delighted to host students from Belvedere College SJ and Mount Anville for our annual Ember Group Day in the school.
We started the day off with Mass in the College Chapel celebrated by our chaplain Fr Tom Casey S.J. and con-celebrated by Fr Charles Searson S.J. At this Mass, a number of students from Mount Anville and Gonzaga were commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist.
We then had a breakfast in the dining hall, which everyone enjoyed greatly. Thanks to Carroll Catering for providing the breakfast for us.
Following the breakfast, we went to the Theatre to hear from Fr Charles Searson S.J. and his time as a chaplain in Zambia, and Dan O’Mahony and Johnny Cunnane gave a presentation on our Ember Group.
