Gonzaga entered 6 teams into St Andrews school chess tournament. With a mixture of seasoned and amateur player, the teams played excellent matches.
The senior team won all of their games, that being 20/20. The team included Ben Sheehan, Bill Shelley, Thomas Cooney and Lorcan Cooney.
The mixed junior and senior team placed third. The team included Alex O'Loghlen, Oliver Cooney, Tom O'Brien and Basra's Battushig.
