Gonzaga College were invited to attend the Eton College rapid chess tournament in Windsor on Sunday the 13th of October 2024.

Team A included, Jason Liu, Bill Shelley, Thomas Cooney, Andrew He, Lorcan Cooney, and Eli Catacutan. Team B included Alex O'Loghlen, Oscar Malone, Eoin Tully, Filipe Cooney, Riccardo Guasoni, Oliver Cooney and Tom O’Brien.

Well done to both teams who played some excellent chess with A's earning 16 points out of 30 and the B's earning 10.5 points out of 30 in a tough competition.
