As part of Catholic Schools Week, we would like to invite all parents and students to a speical talk by Abbot Columba McCann, the head monk at the Benedictine community of Genstal Abbey in Gonzaga College SJ Chanpel, on Tuesday 21st Jauuary, at 15h30.
Abbott McCann went to school at Gonzaga College SJ and later studied music at UCD. He is an accomplished organist and has composed a number of hymns and musical pieces for the organ.
Abbot McCann is very much looking forward to being with us. He will talk about this life, especially his years at Gonzaga College SJ and his vocation to the priesthood and the Benedictines.
