The Gonzaga students' projects covered disciplines ranging from biology and physics to computer science and social sciences. More than 2000 projects were submitted; all entries were screened to select just 550 projects to compete in the RDS, and our students' projects were among those. The fact of being selected for this competition itself is an amazing achievement. Very well done to all of them!
As a result of their hard work, Alec, Eoghan, and Harry won First place in the chemical, physical, and mathematical sciences – (Senior group ) category. They also won a special award from the Institute of Physics, which is also a massive achievement.
Kevin competed with another 17 projects in the biological and ecological sciences (intermediate individual) category and won 3rd place, well done Kevin!
Thomas, Jakub, James, Henry, Conor, and Joe were fantastic at presenting their projects to the public, doing an amazing job of articulating their ideas and demonstrating great knowledge in their respective areas. They received great recognition and positive feedback from the public. Congratulations to all of you!
