Many congratulations to Luke Rickard (S4D), who won the Irish Young Philosopher Award on Friday afternoon. Luke won the Individual-5th-6th year individual project award, the overall individual project award, the Technology and Ethics award, and the overall competition for his project entitled “Is it ethical for robots to be caregivers?” - He was delighted that he got to meet President Higgins.
