Well done to all of the Gonzaga participants in this year’s All Ireland Linguistics Olympiad. Some 4000 students across the country signed up for the challenge, 1306 took part in round one, 100 qualified for the National Final.
Padraig Sheehy achieved 5th place nationally and will represent Ireland at the International Olympiad in July.
Ronan Kirby finished in 35th place.
In the U16 category, Cormac Donnelly achieved 6th place nationally, Henry Li 15th place, and Rory Collins 19th.
