Alexandra College Play 'When They Go Low'

Well done to the four Fifth Year students - Ben Delaney, John Linehan, Eoin MacNulty, and Eoin Sadlier - who took part in Alexandra College Senior DramSoc's production of the play ‘When They Go Low’ by Natalie Mitchell in March 2022. This play explores everyday sexism, feminism, consent and the changing face of teenage sexuality in an online world.

Congratulations to Lynn Brehony and to all the cast and crew on a superb production.

Thanks to Luke Brehony for the photos.

The class of 2022 presented The Ladykillers by Graham Linehan on 13, 14, and 15 October 2021. See photos here.

Directed by Mr Finucane and Ms Ní Bhraonáin. Set design by Ms R. McCarthy and Ms Keogh.

Scene: Mrs. Wilberforce likes to report suspicious behaviour to the police. Unaware of her reputation, the dapper thief Professor Marcus rents rooms in the elderly widow's home for himself and his band of cohorts. Posing as a string quintet, the thieves pull off a bank robbery, but slip up in front of the old woman as they try to escape. Agreed that they need to murder her, the bumbling crooks wind up double-crossing each other and slowly killing themselves off.
Time: The action takes place in King’s Cross, London
from 5th to 9th November 1956
